We welcome new volunteers to the Trondheim team to shape our next projects and plan the next seminar in Timor-Leste. Here you will find information on the three different positions and link to the application form. Deadline for applying: 04.10. Learn more about Kria dalan here.
Assistant head
Together with head of Kria dalan, HÃ¥kon Noren, you have the lead of the organization and are responsible for the long term, strategic planning. If you have an interest in learning to manage the finances and budgeting of Kria dalan, this could be one of your key responsibilities. Kria dalan is a young organization and as assistant head you will have the opportunity to shape the future development as well as assisting existing projects.
Seminar coordinator
In August this year, we held a successful seminar in Timor-Leste and recruited three local students. As seminar coordinator you will work together with Rikka Kjelkenes and the volunteers in Timor-Leste to find theme, speakers and recruit participants for the next seminar in 2019. How can a seminar contribute to sustainable development in Timor-Leste? How do we maximize impact for the funding which is accessible? How do we measure success? These are some of the dilemmas you face as a seminar coordinator.
Project developer
One of the three goals of Kria dalan is to exchange knowledge and culture between students in Norway and Timor-Leste. There are many different approaches to making this happen. As a project developer you will explore the opportunities for launching new initiatives. Maybe master students can write their thesis on issues related to Timor-Leste or maybe your job is to lobby academic cooperation between NTNU and UNTL, the university in the capital Dili. In order to succeed in this position you have to be driven, creative and able to build networks.
